Online methods for stator insulation monitoring have been investigated with increasing interest in the last 15 years. These rely on high-frequency behavior of electric machine. In converter-fed machines, is visible through current ringings occurring during switching commutations power electronics. As lifetime machines can several decades, a faster way to evaluate accelerated aging tests. This work aims perform an procedure induction motor test online method. The has randomly-wound winding and it aged by means thermal cycles without need oven. A custom converter employed apply record ringings. proposed method based metric that quantifies ringing variations simple manner, following quasi-linear variation parasitic capacitances aging.
